Good to know
Before you come.
Do I need any experience?+
No. Start with the basics of hand-building. Annie guides you through preparing the clay, shaping a wall and making joins.
What should I bring?+
Tools, clay and an apron are included. Wear clothes you do not mind getting a little clay on.
Do I take my piece home that evening?+
Your piece stays to dry, be glazed and go through both firings. The studio will confirm when it is ready to collect.
How does membership work?+
Open Clay Monthly includes four studio evenings each month for $232. Unused visits roll forward, and you can cancel anytime. Payment is handled at the studio.
What if my plans change?+
Use your email and confirmation code to review or cancel a class. Cancelling opens the seat for someone else.
Can I bring an artifact of my own?+
Yes—talk with Annie first so she can approve an object and approach suited to the clay and its firing. The intention ritual is optional, and its meaning can stay entirely yours.
